October 22, 2026: Visit the historic Woodland Ranch, near Courtland. The property has been owned by the same family since the early 1900s. Learn about the conservation practices that have been implemented on the property. More information here

Past Events

October 16, 2025: SE Kansas at the Phil Eastep “Cross Timbers” property. The owners have a vineyard and bottling operation with tasting room which used harvested & processed timber from the property. The field may include an optional tour of the “Wizard of Oz” park Phil has created on the property.

October 5, 2024: Kansas Forestry Association, in cooperation with Kansas Forest Service, will be hosting a field day on a property that is a land trust. Follow the Kansas Forestry Association for more information. 

September 30, 2023: A Forestry Field Day will be organized in cooperation with the KFA and Kansas Forest Service.
