April 26, 2024: Spring field day will be Friday 9:30-3:30 at the WK Kellogg Experimental Forest, 7060 N 42nd St, Augusta. Agenda includes social time, forest history, sawmill and Bobcat with forestry head demos, discuss a walnut compartment marked for thinning, and tour of young oak and walnut plantings last toured in 2022.

August 5, 2023: Summer field day in partnership with MFA and Tree Farm. Hosted by Gene & Sally Demick at their Hickory Hollow Tree Farm, Jerome MI. Topics include looking at different growth rates, discussing mowing between rows, observe the white oak plantation and talk about herbicide use.

April 22, 2023: Spring Field Day starting at 9:30 a.m. The event will be on Bill and Alice Botti's property, 6120 S. Clinton Trail (M50/M99), Eaton Rapids, Michigan. The main focus of the 10-acre property is the Christmas trees, but there is some hardwood planted by squirrel volunteers. Potential agenda includes social time, demonstration of hobby style sawmill, professional tree felling, tree planting of plugs and bare root seedlings, lumber stacking & moisture content measurement.

April 22, 2022: Spring Field Day from 9:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at Michigan State University's W.K. Kellogg Experimental Forest. The address is 7060 N. 42nd Street, Augusta, MI 49012. Coffee, doughnuts, and water will be provided, but please bring your own lunch. The event is free. RSVP by Monday, April 18, 2022.

October 5, 2019: Michigan chapter fall Field Day. Demick property, 7300 Baker Rd, Jerome, MI. This property is approximately 400 acres with 10,000 to 15,000 walnut trees in plantation settings. Hickory Hollow Farm is a very unique and impressive property and shows years of hard work by the family. It will be an outstanding field day, rain or shine.

April 25, 2018: Michigan chapter spring Field Day
At the WK Kellogg Experimental Forest, 7060 N 42nd St, Augusta, MI. Starts at 9 AM. Topics will be TSI, tours and discussion of several walnut plantations, equipment demonstrations, safety instructions, and history of Kellogg Forest. Coffee and rolls provided. Bring your own lunch.
